Budget Flying

I am only of average height, and my knees were up against the seat in front of me!

Perhaps the most cramped plane I’ve seen in a while…

What airline?? Of course all airlines have become cattle cars in economy.

    • Vueling – a Spanish budget airline, along the lines of RyanAir and EasyJet, but not quite as bad. I think that even in coach class back home there is a tad bit more space. Probably because they are American airlines and Americans, in general, are larger (height and weight) than Europeans. Also, we don’t really have any true budget airlines. I do remember when Southwest (back when it was cheap) did exit row seating with two rows facing each other (train-style seating) instead of everyone facing forward. That was awful, and I think they’ve moved beyond that now. But again, I don’t think we really have any true budget airlines left back home.
