Public Service Announcement

Today, October 11, 2013, is (apparently) the official day when all Italians must begin wearing heavy coats and scarves when they go outside, lest a whiff of cold air fall upon their exposed necks and cause untold health woes, including back cramps and fatal liver conditions.

In Italy, moving air is a biohazard.

Never mind the fact that right now (1:30pm) it is almost 70° outside (still with about 300% humidity) – it was a bit chilly this morning!

I hope you also have your flowerpot humidifier ready? Sometimes scarves just aren’t enough, you know! 😉

    • Haha, yes, and the ceramic “humidifiers” are already hanging on the side of my radiators, waiting to evaporate approx. 1/2 cup of water every two weeks into the air! 😛
