Three Roman Details

Here are three curiosities that I saw today around town:

1. A detail on a fountain. I guess this is a sort of gargoyle?

Across the street from the massive church of Sant’Andrea della Valle.

2. A face above a window. There were three like this.

Here’s looking at you.

3. A deer head on a roof with a cross on top of it. Why not?
