An Unusual Sight

Last night, when I walked past the Trevi Fountain, I saw something new: some of the windows next to it had the shutters and curtains open and the lights on.

When I got closer I saw people standing in the window balconies. The show-offs. Nice venue!

The fountain is the main terminus for the Acqua Vergine aqueduct; the building behind it, besides the waterworks in the lower part, has offices on the main and upper levels. But at night, it is usually all closed up!
