Some Chapel!

Here’s the view I had when I looked up at the Sainte-Chapelle in Paris, on my recent trip there.

The Sainte-Chapelle, or Holy Chapel, was consecrated in 1248, having been constructed by St. Louis (King Louis IX) as a chapel to house his collection of the relics of the Passion of Our Lord, including the Crown of Thorns. See my previous post with a photo of the Crown of Thorns, which is periodically brought out for veneration at the nearby Notre Dame Cathedral.
